Pet Portrait Pyrography

We are going to explore the soothing art of pyrography, aka wood burning at Bats Amore! Class cost includes everything you need to burn a portrait of your favorite animal or pet on a wood plaque.

No drawing skills needed as we will trace from a photo. You will leave the class with a piece of art you’re proud to hang on the wall.

No pet? No problem! We can work with your favorite animal of any kind too. You’ll be guided in techniques to create highlights and shades.

Once you register you will be responsible for emailing 3-4 photos emailed ahead of the event to prep for tracing.

• Plain backgrounds in natural light work best
• Email photos to batsamore906@gmail.com
• Use the headline Connect Marquette Pet Portrait Pyrography

In order to prepare your pictures for tracing, registration for this event will close at 12:00am on July 18th.
