We’re gearing up for the 13th Annual Iron Range Roll! Thank you to the over 300 races who participated in 2025.
The 2026 Iron Range Roll is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1pm!
This year our packet pickup will be at the Marquette YMCA on Friday, June 5th from 4pm-7pm.
Register from March 16th through June 1st to participate. To get a t-shirt, register by May 12th!
This 12 mile bike race is a family friendly yet competitive event. In previous years we have seen racers from as young as 6 years old to over 80 years old. There is no time limit and there are plenty of places to stop and rest along the race route. Sign up as a team and have your own mini race while biking the Iron Range Roll! Compete against each other, or other teams.
The 2025 Iron Range Roll was an amazing, successful event with over $8,000 raised for the YMCA of Marquette County’s Youth Programs, Aspen Ridge Middle School, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Over the past 12 years, the Iron Range Roll has donated over $70,000 to the youth programs at the YMCA! We are so proud of this event and so grateful to our community for supporting us all these years.

NOTE: There will be active construction at the County Road 492 road crossing as the township builds a new round-about. The Iron Range Roll Committee is actively looking into how this may impact the race. We will provide more information when it is available.
As much as we would love to offer this, the Iron Range Roll does not currently have a shuttle to bring people back to their vehicles at the starting line. Make sure to have a friend or family member pick you up at Barrel + Beam or ride back up the trail when the after party is over!
You are guaranteed a t-shirt when you register by Tuesday, May 12th, 2026. This is our order cut off to have the shirts printed locally at Loyaltees!
Our typical after party includes a free meal for all participants, live music, a presentation from our race benefactors, and an award ceremony where the top 3 races from each age bracket (e-bikes excluded) receive a hand-burned Iron Range Roll medal!
While you can participate in the Iron Range Roll with an e-bike, e-bike riders are excluded from the award ceremony during the After Party. Please make sure you indicate you are an e-bike rider when you register.
No. If you are just bringing your kids along for a fun ride, they do not need to be registered as individual participants. However, children tagging along will not receive any individual timed result and will not be giving meal tickets at the after party.
