What is Connect Marquette?
Connect Marquette was created in 2010 (originally as 40 Below) as a way for individuals in the Marquette County area to come together with networking and professional development opportunities.
Since our organization was created, we have embarked on many different adventures. Not only has Connect Marquette diversified its events and continuously grown its membership on a local level, we also host the annual Upper Peninsula Professional Development Conference, bringing professionals from all across the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin together for outstanding professional development and relationship-building opportunities. In 2014, Connect Marquette members organized the inaugural Iron Range Roll, a 16 mile point-to-point bike race event to connect our communities and raise funds for the YMCA of Marquette County’s Youth Programs. We feel that we are the future of our communities—there are future business owners, entrepreneurs, leaders or even Mayors among us!
