Connect Marquette is celebrating Spread Goodness Day by teaming up with our community to create 100 bags of goodies for Salvation Army to distribute to low-income children in the area to celebrate their birthday, because Every Kid Deserves a Birthday.
Be a Every Kid Deserves a Birthday Donator:
Some examples of things to donate: books, cake mix, frosting, candles, frisbees, birthday cards, toy cell phones, bubbles, flower-growing kits, glow sticks, and truly, anything you can imagine that kiddos would enjoy. Because our goal is to fill 100 bags, we ask that the donations be in quantities of 50, so either 50 or 100. Donations will be due on Friday, March 11th. Please reach out to cmqtevents@gmail.com to arrange for drop-off/pickup of donations.
Be a Bag Stuffer Volunteer:
We’re also looking for volunteers to help us fill the bags on Saturday, March 12th from 12:30-2pm in the Community Room at the Peter White Public Library. Use the RSVP sign up form below to volunteer. This is a limited event and each person should have their own table to adhere to COVID-19 Guidelines.
