Janel LaPalm is our September Member of the Month! Janel works as an environmental quality analyst! She is a member of Connect Marquette because her cousin Molly convinced her to give the group a try. Janel says she ended up staying for the good folks and fun times!
“I just moved to Marquette, so I love getting to know other people up here and discovering more of this town with a crew! I really loved the kayaking Connect event and hope to see more outdoor activities in the future!”
When asked about her hobbies Janel explains, “I feel like this question is unfair because I have an environmental profession, but I suppose I do more than hike and plan trips to state parks. I love perusing books or movies and then analyzing them; I’m also trying to get back into figure skating & music (cello or voice)! I also love bar trivia and would love to get a group together (being good at trivia not required, as I’m definitely not, unless it’s about the Great Lakes).”
