Get to know our December Member of the Month
Gianna is a Communication and Marketing Specialist at Edge Partnerships. She is a Connect Marquette member to engage with other community members with the common goal of promoting and highlighting our city.
Gianna says her membership with Connect Marquette has created an opportunity for her to meet with other professionals to discuss happenings within the community. It also provides a format for open communication to discuss questions and challenges she may face in her career. She joined to gain professional support but quickly learned that the relationships you make quickly evolve into friendships.
When asked what she enjoys connecting on Gianna says, “I enjoy connecting with individuals who organize local events, work in marketing, and enjoy various art forms.
I have served on the First Thursday Art Tour Board for two years to coordinate a tour of local art galleries and studios, increase art and culture, and support small businesses. Our agency, Edge Partnerships, serves as an event sponsor alongside Travel Marquette to further support our efforts and a passion of mine.”
Her favorite community events are the U.P. 200 dog sled race, Art on the Rocks and, of course, the First Thursdays Art Tour.
