Aaron Peterson is our April Member of the Month! Aaron works as a Photographer and Director, and his work focuses on the Great Lakes area and has a passion for storytelling and learning about peoples’ stories.
When asked what David feels his membership does for him, he replied:
“Marquette is evolving and we wanted to stay connected and welcome all the new businesses and people enriching our community. Connect Marquette provides social events and networking opportunities to help us stay connected.”
In addition to staying connected with businesses and people in the community, his favorite community event is close to his heart:
“Shameless plug: Fresh Coast Film Festival!—I’m a co-founder and the creative director and am proud to be helping build a culture of storytelling for the Great Lakes while creating a positive reputation for Marquette.”
We also asked Aaron what he thinks the best spot in town is for dinner. He gave his recommendations for all over the U.P.!:
“I have to give a Western Marquette County shoutout to Congress pizza; Keweenaw friends at Fitzgeralds; Marquette friends at Steinhaus and The Delft; Tracy’s in Munising…I could keep going…but really I’m spoiled because my partner Candy Fletcher is such an amazing and creative chef at home.”
