July’s Member of the Month is Aurora Dobbs, Mechanical Designer at Integrated Designs, Inc.
Aurora got involved with Connect Marquette to meet new people, connect with other professionals, and keeps her informed on different events and activities she wouldn’t normally look for. She enjoys meeting new professionals in the UP and hearing about what brought them here (or keeps them here).
When asked what her hobbies are she replied:
I enjoy mountain biking, fishing, snowboarding, gardening, & basically anything outdoors. I also like reality TV shows, playing board games, and hanging out with my husband & dogs.
We asked her what some of her favorite community events or local organizations are and she replied,
“Noquemanon Trail Network (NTN) and Start the Cycle are great organizations. The trails and outdoor activities are the UP’s biggest asset and protecting them is so important. Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly is another really cool local organization! I also love the Iron Range Roll because it’s a family-friendly event that all ages can enjoy.
