The Connect Marquette Book Club is now open to the public! Join the Connect Marquette Book Club this summer, as we read Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience.
Flow, written by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, details the author's personal explorations of what makes an experience truly satisfying - it is a state of consciousness called flow. During flow, people typically experience deep enjoyment, creativity, and a total involvement with life. Csikszentmihalyi demonstrates the ways this positive state can be controlled, not just left to chance. Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience teaches how, by ordering the information that enters our consciousness, we can discover true happiness, unlock our potential, and greatly improve the quality of our lives.
Read the book throughout the early part of summer and have side discussions with other club members through the BookClubz app!
On Monday, July 26, we'll meet on Zoom (Direct Link) to discuss the book as a group and talk about future books to read!
Grab a copy and join us on Bookclubz, an app that facilitates discussion and planning for the CM Book Club.If you have any questions, comments or book recommendations, please email email@example.com.
