Keynote Speaker - Nancy Lyons

Nancy Lyons, Marquette native, has been at the forefront of the work culture conversation for more than twenty years. “People-first as a business strategy” is the guiding principle that fuels the unique, award-winning culture at Clockwork, a company she founded in 2002.
She speaks and writes about the crucial role work culture plays in delivering meaningful and effective results. Work culture — our feelings, behaviors, and interactions — is core to how we work.
Her first book was Interactive Project Management: Pixels, People, and Process, a human-centered approach to producing digital products. Her current book, Work Like a Boss: A kick-in-the-pants Guide to Finding (and Using) your Power at Work, is the little book everyone needs to remember the actions, attitudes, and attributes that will make work better, for individuals and everyone around them.

State of Outdoor Recreation & How You Can Get Involved

All work and no play is a mindset of the past. Life requires balance and being an effective employee requires having hobbies and an outlet for the hardships of present day life. We are so fortunate in the U.P. to have so many outdoor recreational opportunities. Come listen to local business owners talk about the different outdoor activities that they love and how you can get more involved in these activities.

Choose from the following breakout options:

  • The Noquemanon Trail Network
  • U.P. Rowing Club
  • VeloServe
  • Marquette Mountain

Closing Speaker - Jacquelyn Trask-Rahn

Jacquelyn is an Edward Jones Financial Advisor. She is an active member of her community and sits on several boards in the Delta County Area including Upper Edge, Holy Name Catholic School Home & School Board, GFWC - Women's Club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area.

Jacqueline will share her considerable knowledge on how to utilize tools provided by this conference to keep a clear path into success and wellness.

These bite-sized sessions will cover everything from Health and Wellness to Outdoor Recreation, and Personal Growth to be sure there is something for everyone!  Take advantage of the Winter Summit experience by submitting questions for these well-established professionals during the Q&A periods following each session. A moderator, RJ Parrish, will join us from Evoke Media Labs.

We’re excited to see meet you in the virtual world!  Registrants will be sent the attendance link on the eve of the event, Thursday, February 18th.
