Connect Marquette is continuing our monthly Lunch With Leaders series, and we are excited to host two community-driven members: Dr. Tracy Nyberg and David Nyberg!
Tracy and her team recently launched a veterinary practice on Lakeshore Blvd, Stuga North Veterinary Care, with a focus on meaningful connections with clients and quality pet care being paramount. She currently serves on the Michigan Board of Veterinary Medicine, completing a 4-year term to evaluate competency for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians, with the Board overseeing and implementing disciplinary action against licensees who adversely affect public health code statewide.
David earned his bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University and his juris doctor at MSU College of Law. David has served in Gov. Snyder’s administration as Director of Northern Michigan’s Office and transitioned to Director of Corporate Engagement at Northern Michigan University. He is NMU’s primary liaison to corporations and foundations since 2018. Both Tracy and David are proud MSU alumni and family oriented.
Weekend warriors rejoice! If you are intrigued to get know more, and want to hear about their U.P. adventures, this event is for you! Have questions for the Nybergs? Join us or e-mail questions to email@example.com.
We offer an accessible setting to get to know, learn, and discuss relevant topics that fit our mission; being an instrumental part of the long-term success of individuals in Marquette County through collaboration, inclusiveness, innovation, and the U.P. work ethic. This is a great opportunity to get to know our featured guests in a small-group format.
This Lunch With Leaders meeting will be hosted through Zoom. So please take this opportunity to get to know a bit more about two amazing and hard working parents and community leaders. Get your laptop, take a break, grab a treat and invite your pet in the background -- and spend your lunch with us!
Registration will be available until shortly before the start of the program. Registrants will receive a follow-up email with information on how to join the discussion.
Each month, Connect Marquette will feature a guest speaker in an informal lunch setting (up to 10 guests). Organized topics at different venues in downtown Marquette (when such meetings are again possible) will be announced ahead of time. The topic will be selected by the featured speaker, and a few topics can be suggested by the organization ahead of time for preparation.
