Connect Marquette is continuing our monthly Lunch With Leaders series, in a big way this October. We are very excited to announce that we will be sitting down (virtually, of course), for a chat with Scott Graham, Director of the Michigan Brewers Guild!
Annually, Scott -- who has been in his current position since 2007 -- and the guild host several spectacular festivals throughout the state, including the always-amazing U.P. Beer Festival in Marquette.
Scott has an interesting background that led him to all parts of the brewing industry, and across our great beer state. We're hoping to chat with Scott about his work orchestrating not just beer festivals, but a statewide micro brewing economy.
Have questions for Scott? Join us or e-mail questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer an accessible setting to get to know, learn, and discuss relevant topics that fit our mission; being an instrumental part of the long-term success of individuals in Marquette County through collaboration, inclusiveness, innovation, and the U.P. work ethic. This is a great opportunity to get to know our guest in a small-group format!
This Lunch With Leaders meeting will be hosted through Zoom. So take this opportunity to get to know a bit more about one of the most interesting parts of our local economy (beer!) and one of the people leading the way. Get your computer, take a break, grab a bite -- grab a brew? -- and spend your lunch with us!
Registration will be available until shortly before the start of the program. Registrants will receive a follow-up email with information on how to join the discussion.
*The $5 registration helps pay for the lunch series - Thank you!
Each month, Connect Marquette will feature a guest speaker in an informal lunch setting (up to 10 guests). Organized topics at different venues in downtown Marquette (when such meetings are again possible) will be announced ahead of time. The topic will be selected by the featured speaker, and a few topics can be suggested by the organization ahead of time for preparation.
