Connect Marquette is excited to continue our monthly (1 hour) Lunch With Leaders series, bringing together both members and non-members interested in the unique perspective of each month's guest.

We offer an accessible setting to get to know, learn, and discuss relevant topics that fit our mission; being an instrumental part of the long-term success of individuals in Marquette County through collaboration, inclusiveness, innovation, and the U.P. work ethic. This is a great opportunity to get to know our guest in a small-group format!

Our September 9 conversation is with Bradley Austin, who is the director at the Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority, overseeing solid waste collection -- and recycling -- for much of the central Upper Peninsula. He and the MCSWMA are planning some big and exciting changes for Marquette County recycling, so this should be an enlightening lunch, to say the least!

This Lunch With Leaders meeting will be hosted through Zoom. So take this opportunity to get to know a bit more about our local recycling program, which has major impacts both economically and ecologically, and one of the people leading the way. Grab your computer, take a break, grab a bite and spend your lunch with us!

Registration will be available until shortly before the start of the program. Registrants will receive a follow-up email with information on how to join the discussion.

Each month, Connect Marquette will feature a guest speaker in an informal lunch setting (up to 10 guests). Organized topics at different venues in downtown Marquette (when such meetings are again possible) will be announced ahead of time. The topic will be selected by the featured speaker, and a few topics can be suggested by the organization ahead of time for preparation.

This is a great opportunity to get to know our guest in a small group format!
